The ceremony was organised in two steps. Firstly, the Secretary General of CED gave a presentation on transparency in the forest sector in Cameroon, on the "Improving Transparency in the Forest Sector" Project and its progress, and finally on the contents of the 2010 Report. The facilitator then opened two sets of Q&A followed by a round of discussions. Most interventions appreciated the Report Card initiative and requested the participating administration and other stakeholders to commit themselves effectively in addressing the identified shortcomings.

One of the highlights of these discussions was the offer of formal collaboration between the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife and the CED, which was made by the Assistant Director of Inventories and Forest Management representing the Director of Forests at the ceremony. The process of implementing this proposal has been initiated by CED, namely through getting into contact with the concerned officials.
