The workshop was carried out within the framework of the mid-term review of the project, after two years of implementation. The main objective of this event was to assess progress and impacts in forest governance in Perú, and in so doing strengthen the project results. This event also enjoyed the support of the UK IDLgroup.
The workshop included participants of those organisations implementing Special Learning Opportunities (SLOs) in 2009 and 2010, public officials and representatives of civil society. The presentation of the project itself, along with the Peruvian Forest Transparency Annual Report and the impact and experience acquired through the implementation of SLOs, led to fruitful discussion that have enriched the project’s objectives for the coming years.
The presentations delivered in this event can be found on DAR’s website: http://www.dar.org.pe/transparenciaforestal/inicio.html.
